Shvaasa
Breathing vitality into life
Shvaasa is a mental health and wellness initiative offering psychotherapy and counselling services for individuals, couples, and groups. We use holistic, evidence-based approaches to support mental and emotional well-being. Our work is informed by human-centred, clinical, psychodynamic, neuroscience, and mind–body perspectives, allowing us to support the whole person across different emotional experiences and life stages.
What we Support

We work with people who are going through a wide range of emotional and mental health challenges, including anxiety, stress, low mood, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, burnout, and concerns around eating or body image. We also help individuals navigate ADHD, perinatal and postnatal mental health, chronic pain, and the lasting impact of difficult childhood experiences.
Our space is affirming for those exploring sexual or gender identity, and for anyone who has lived through physical, emotional, or sexual abuse—offering care that is respectful, compassionate, and non-judgmental.
Therapy at Shvaasa is not limited to times of distress; it also supports self-awareness, emotional integration, and resilience, helping individuals reconnect with a sense of wholeness and vitality in everyday life.
Our Approach
Our integrative, trauma-informed approach brings together relational psychotherapy, creative expressive arts interventions, and clinical assessments when needed.
Sessions are shaped collaboratively, with a strong focus on safety, compassion, and ethical care, and are guided by each person’s needs, preferences, and readiness.
The therapeutic process may include talking, creative expression, or somatic work, depending on what feels most supportive for each individual.
